Our school-age program is designed for children ages 6-12 years old. The children take part in individual and group activities including dance, motor skills, literature, math, computers, and crafts. Homework assistance is provided. The CareGarden offers an After-School program that provides a safe and stimulating environment for young school-age children during those challenging after-school hours.
Children can play with their friends, participate in a variety of recreational activities, receive assistance with their homework, or just relax and enjoy a book. Music, creative art, dramatic play, computers, and lots of outdoor play are planned by teachers to encourage socialization and problem–solving skills. The After-School program is also offered for extended hours on many school holidays and early dismissal days Schoolagers are encouraged to communicate and cooperate as individuals and as a group. Independence is essential and continues to be stressed with school-age children. Daily sheets will be provided as needed. Observations will be conducted on each child. Our summer calendar is packed with exciting opportunities. While school-age children and our preschoolers learn through nature walks and visits from zoos and museums, our toddlers discover the world by planting gardens and enjoying picnics with friends.
Energetic teachers plan summer days filled with enriching activities that nurture each child’s self-confidence and provide a summer full of fun and learning!
Enrollment for the summer program begins in January and space is limited. Please contact The CareGarden for registration information today!
